Toronto Sustainability Speaker Series (TSSS) and Corporate Knights seek nominations for our Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders list

According to the United Nations, nearly a third of the world’s population falls into the “youth” category. It’s imperative, the global agency says, that youth from all parts of the world participate actively in all levels of decision-making related to sustainable development. “It affects their lives today and has implications for their futures.”
Just as important is that their voice is heard and their actions are recognized.
This is exactly what the Spring 2015 issue of Corporate Knights magazine intends to do. Our youth-themed April issue will recognize the top 30 individuals under 30 years old who are showing tremendous leadership on sustainability issues. They could be young social entrepreneurs or business leaders; budding politicians or impactful bureaucrats; up-and-coming scientists or innovative activists. Common to them all is their drive to create a more equitable and sustainable economic system.
“To watch today’s youth embrace the challenge of sustainability and confront the realities of climate change, social inequality and other pressing issues head on is to have hope in our collective future,” said Tyler Hamilton, Editor-In-Chief of Corporate Knights. “The most difficult part of this project will be limiting our spotlight to only 30 individuals.”
