I’m a breaking news reporter and web geek at the Herald, covering city hall, crime, court, politics and general assignments. I also manage the Herald’s webpage and social media on the weekends, editing and posting stories, photos and video to the web. I like making maps and am slowly honing my data journalism and visual storytelling skills.

That experience served me well in 2014 as I was one of the main reporters covering the disappearance and murders of Calgary couple Alvin and Kathryn Liknes and their five-year-old grandson, Nathan O’Brien.
