Author Anastasia Ostapchuk

Anastasia Ostapchuk

Anastasia is the Associate Coordinator of the Canadian local chapter of the United Nations Global Compact, where she assists in program development, delivery, and communication. Anastasia is also a Junior Consultant at B. Accountability where has worked on several client projects and has gained insight across the different dimensions of sustainability management and reporting.

Anastasia is an Honors Business Administration Graduate with a Certificate in Sustainability from the Western University’s Ivey School of Business. She has also completed the Global Reporting Initiative Certified Training Course based on G4 Reporting Guidelines. She is passionate about private sector solutions to social problems and she believes that cross sector collaboration can create the most lasting social change. Fascinated by social entrepreneurship she spent six months after graduation working on partnership development and communications at Ashoka Canada, Ashoka is the world’s leading network of social entrepreneurs. Anastasia also spent her university summers volunteering and traveling in Africa, South America, and Europe.

Aside from her passion for sustainable business and cross-sector collaboration, Anastasia also loves cross-cultural interaction and is proud of her Ukrainian heritage.

After a launch of the Global Compact Network Canada’s inaugural Reporting Peer Review Program this summer, a second cohort of Canadian companies successfully completed the program this October.
