If the idea of B Corps was actually swaying large companies, investors and billionaires around the world to behave differently, then perhaps we wouldn’t need regulations. But in large part, this is not the case and to claim otherwise is wishful thinking.
When confronted with the idea that regulations could move us much more quickly to address our urgent global environmental challenges, the response is often that we, the consumer, need to change our wasteful and polluting behaviour.
