Kruger Products

Kruger Products L.P. is Canada’s leading manufacturer of quality tissue products for household, industrial and commercial use. Our popular Canadian consumer brands include Cashmere® and Purex® bathroom tissue, SpongeTowels® paper towels, Scotties®’ facial tissue and the White Swan® product line-up, which are available in mass merchants, grocery, club, drug, discount and convenience retailers across Canada. Our White Cloud® brand is available in select locations in the United States and Mexico. We also serve major away-from-home commercial markets across North America, including property management, manufacturing, healthcare, accommodations, education and food service.

Launched in 2010, Sustainability 2015 is our five-year sustainable development plan to reduce our environmental impact. We set nine quantifiable targets in key areas, including fibre, energy, emissions, water, waste, packaging, and transport. In 2011, Kruger Products became the first Canadian tissue manufacturer to earn Forest Stewardship Council® certification by the Rainforest Alliance. To date, we have one of the largest portfolios of third-party certified tissue products across North America and we investigate opportunities to continue to grow this portfolio.

Kruger Products is an enthusiastic and committed corporate sponsor. We invest time in community-building activities and local philanthropy, thereby contributing to the health, welfare and social wellbeing of neighbours and community partners. We support a host of national, regional and local charitable causes, including long-standing commitments with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, women’s amateur curling through the annual Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Nature Canada, and most recently we became an official partner of Earth Day Canada.

Leaders in Sustainable Thinking

Kruger Products launched the Leaders In Sustainable Thinking round table series to bring together leading members of industry to promote collaboration and the development of sustainable solutions.  Please enjoy our reports below:

Responsible Sourcing

Seven senior representatives from retailers, CPG manufacturers and NGOs came together to discuss industry’s role in driving the responsible sourcing agenda even further to make more of an impact and guide consumers along the right path.

Sustainable Paper

Leading companies, NGOs and a global fibre economist conversed about how global market demands are changing the definition of sustainable paper as well as the opportunity for responsible companies to lead b2b paper consumers towards a sustainable future and understand the need for a mix of responsibly sourced virgin and recycled fibre-based products.

The Green Consumer

The inaugural round table saw eight retailers, CPG manufacturers, market data analysts and an academic come together to identify challenges in understanding and targeting the green consumer with information and products in which they are interested.
