Author Steve McCoy-Thompson

Steve McCoy-Thompson

With more than 20 years of experience in international management consulting for companies and governments around the world—including long-term engagements in China, India, and West Africa—Steve brings a broad perspective to client management, global operations, and staff development and engagement at BSR.

Prior to BSR, Steve led capacity-building services at Deloitte Consulting for its Emerging Markets and the National GreenSync practices. He also helped to establish Nexant, Inc.—an energy consulting firm—as a carve-out from Bechtel Corporation, and formed the consulting practice at the International City Management Association. Throughout his professional career, Steve has delivered services to the energy, health, and information technology sectors with a focus on organizational strategy and design, employee engagement, and workforce development.

Steve holds an M.A. in International Business and Law from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.A. from Duke University. He is proficient in Chinese and French.
