After almost 8 years leading the Climate Change and Sustainability Services line for Ernst & Young (EY) Western Australia, Michele joined DuPont Sustainable Solutions to support the further growth of the organization. Michele will leverage the unique DuPont’s owner-operator value proposition in the Environmental Services, Employee’s Health and Safety, Process Safety Management, Operational Excellence and Learning & Development areas, to lead a highly motivated and capable global practice leaders team and the Center of Knowledge Management toward the future DSS success.
Michele has 24 years’ experience providing environmental and social impact consulting services to the oil & gas, mining, manufacturing and public service sectors across Europe and Australia. An expert at integrating environmental issues into the long-term financial success of organisations, Michele’s areas of specialisation include identifying risk, improving business performance and implementing best practice for future emissions trading, environmental and health and safety management systems, sustainability programs and waste management. Additionally, Michele has lectured at a number of universities and spoken at conferences. In his spare time, he also managed to compile and edit a book on the Kyoto Protocol and the EU Emissions Trading Scheme. He was a member of the executive committee of EY Foundation and is a member of the board of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Western Australia. He is a Registered Greenhouse Gas and Energy Auditor under the NGER Act in Australia.
