Over the past 20 years I have worked within the non-profit and public sectors and loved every minute of it. I have led numerous large scale projects which focused on system transformation and organizational transition at both local and provincial levels, enjoying work the most when it is change-oriented and innovative.
Most recently I was privileged to oversee the $14 million expansion and transition project for Ronald McDonald House Charities Hamilton and spent five years as their Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, I worked at the Central Local Health Integration Network as the Director, Strategic Alignment and Director, Health System Planning & Development and managed $150 million in project allocations for the provincial Aging at Home and Emergency Room Wait Times strategies.
I am passionate about social impact strategy development, corporate social ‘opportunity’ and lifting organizations and businesses to a place of contribution that makes a difference. Most projects have involved all sectors including non-profits, provincial governments, and businesses where we have successfully created new shared-value partnerships, service integrations and outcomes-focused programming.
In addition to my social sector street creds, I am a certified Corporate Sustainability Practitioner (CSR-P) and work with companies to develop comprehensive Sustainability Reports and customized in-house sustainability training.
I am a member of the International Association of Facilitators and a Collective Impact Coach with Innoweave.
