Aladdin Diakun is a researcher and analyst based in Toronto, Canada. He has previously published with the Centre for International Governance Innovation in Waterloo, where he worked on ESG risks in the Asia-Pacific, as well as on Arctic Governance issues. He attended the MA Global Governance program at the Balsillie School of International Affairs where he focused on climate engineering and security analysis. He also holds a Specialized Honours BA in Political Science and an Honours BA in Hispanic Studies, both from Glendon College. Aladdin previously worked on climate, energy, and forest issues at Greenpeace Canada.
